She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi and went on to receive her Master of Social Work from the University of Memphis. Shemeka brings extensive experience in social services, with a diverse background that includes human trafficking advocacy, rehabilitation services, reentry programming, and support for individuals experiencing homelessness. She has worked closely with populations affected by substance use disorders, mental health challenges, and dual diagnoses, providing compassionate, client-centered care.
