Martie Lafferty is Executive Director of the Tennessee Fair Housing Council (TFHC). Martie has been practicing law for over 25 years with a focus on civil rights issues including fair housing, disability rights, and accessibility. Martie is a skilled litigator with substantial experience handling complex federal litigation in Tennessee and across the United States. She’s a graduate of Centre College, Vanderbilt Divinity School, and Vanderbilt Law School. Martie lives in Nashville with her wife and their big brown dog
