Jonathan Steen is the Medical-Legal Partnership / Litigation Supervising Attorney at West Tennessee Legal Services, where he leads efforts to integrate legal aid into healthcare settings to address social and legal barriers to health. With over 30 years of experience in civil litigation, he provides support, training, and mentorship to WTLS’ legal professionals while advancing the organization's medical-legal partnership initiatives. Jonathan serves on the Board of Professional Responsibility of the Supreme Court of Tennessee and brings extensive experience in legal ethics and professional responsibility. He regularly trains lawyers and legal professionals on best practices in client communication, ethical compliance, and effective advocacy. A past president of the Tennessee Bar Association, Jonathan has been a longtime advocate for access to justice and the expansion of medical-legal partnerships.
