About me
Emma Sholl is the Lead Health and Benefits attorney in the Nashville office of Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands. She supervises a team of two attorneys and three support staff that work on public benefits cases. She handles Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, Food Stamp, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, and Special Education Cases. Emma joined Legal Aid Society in 2014. During her time at Legal Aid Society, she has served as the co-chair of the Gilbert Family Fellows special education project program and the Nashville Managing Attorney before her current role as Nashville Health and Benefits Lead attorney. She received her undergraduate degree from Colgate University and her law degree from Tulane University. During law school, she interned at Southeast Louisiana Legal Services in New Orleans, Children at Risk in Houston, and the Southern Poverty Law Center in New Orleans.
