About me
Emily Cala is a Staff Attorney at Legal Aid of East Tennessee's Knoxville Office, where she works with the Eviction Prevention Program. Emily is from Cleveland, Ohio, where she attended Case Western Reserve University School of Law and graduated in 2021 before moving to Knoxville and starting her career at LAET. Emily has primarily focused on housing work, specifically evictions and fair housing, with some time spent working on LAET's Mental Health Law Partnership. Emily loves to spend time with her one-eyed dog, watch Cleveland baseball, and might be the only person who still tunes in to Law and Order: SVU every Thursday night.
