About me
Amber Vargas’s calling is to advocate for victims of domestic violence. Amber obtained a BA in psychology from Maryville College and a JD from the University of Tennessee College of Law. While getting her degrees, Amber worked at a domestic violence safe house including manning the 24/7 crisis line. Amber has been working as a family law attorney for Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands in their Cookeville office since September 2018. She aspires for a world without domestic violence and compassionately serves her clients to support their journeys to safety and independence.
