About me
Alise Housden is an attorney at the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands. Before coming to LAS, she previously represented over 2,000 debtors in Chapter 7 bankruptcies, Chapter 13 bankruptcies, and several adversary proceedings. She currently practices housing law, consumer law, tax law, expungements, and regularly counsels on bankruptcy issues. She partnered with Legal Aid of East Tennessee and Belmont University law students to host a Debt Relief Clinic that focused on bankruptcy and other debt relief options, with an appearance by Judge Charles Walker of the Middle District of Tennessee Bankruptcy Court.
